AN ALTAR IN THE WORLD BOOK STUDY W/Pastor Glenn
8 WEEKS | WEDNESDAYS AT 1PM BEGINNING SEPT 16
In An Altar in the World, author Barbara Brown Taylor shares how she learned to encounter God far beyond the walls of the church. Taylor reveals meaningful ways to discover the sacred in the small things we do and see, from simple practices such as walking, working, and prayer. She shows us how to discover altars everywhere we go and in nearly everything we do as we learn to live with purpose, pay attention, slow down, and revere the world we live in.
Join Pastor Glenn for an eight-week book study (limited to 8 participants). Please purchase your own book, it is available on Amazon and from most major booksellers. This study will meet outdoors at the church as long as the weather permits and then will meet via phone conference call (contact our office admin, Laura Velonza, for the phone number).
