Pastor Dale Cockrum

Dale was delighted to join Geoff’s pastoral team on July 1, 2016, retiring after a 40-year career as a United Methodist pastor and re-purposing his ministry to pastoral care and senior support in this associate role at Audubon Park UMC.

Born in Wenatchee, Washington, Dale’s active involvement as a youth in First UMC there led to youth work at First UMC in Palo Alto while a college student, and a call to ministry. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history from Stanford University in 1975, and a M.Div. degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary in 1978. Married to JoAnna for over 43 years, they have served internships in Wenatchee, Richland, and Kensington, California, and churches in Reardan, Walla Walla, Vancouver, and Olympia before moving to Spokane in 2008 as the Inland District Superintendent.
